@kylewritescode@mike Yeah, I had to log into a virtual machine on another internet connection to get the validation to work. Fucking dumb. Thanks for coming to the same conclusion I did.
@kylewritescode@mike I’m on Safari and I use AdGuard. I disabled it, but no dice. I have my router’s DNS set to adguard and I wasn’t about to flip those settings just for this. So a quick browserstack login solved that. Still, annoying AF.
FYI the email I got about reviewing publisher accounts says “a few weeks”. Not sure when you submitted yours but I figure mine won’t be good to go until end of Jan or something.

@Aaron@kylewritescode At the moment we have paused new publisher applications because we have been inundated with low quality submissions that we don't want out in the Fediverse. I'm CCing @jejord and @marci to see if they can help.
@mike@kylewritescode@jejord@marci Thanks Mike! Happy to provide any info on my publisher submission / what I write, if anyone needs that. While Kyle’s application is different than mine, I know his stuff is legit.
@kylewritescode I haven't submitted mine yet, but was going to later today. I'm curious if I should go ahead and do that with things being paused and afraid it might get lost along the way, or if I should go ahead and submit mine and hope for the best.
