That is my thinking. Almost nobody (unless you're a masochist) wants to manage the hosting and admin layer on the fedi.

Approach is like we do email hosting would open new markets.

@jeff yeah, I don't even know how to create a shared media cache on Mastodon. I know masto.host does it, but I think they might run something custom.
