Isaiah Berlin would disagree with you. Oftentimes a 'utopian impulse' is associated with the most heinous acts of atrocity and illiberal regimes. It's better then to have a fundamentality holding to the engagement of a diverse and pluralistic society that is holding to the stabilization of a democratic society. Arguably Thomas Paine would agree with this as well as other thinker both contemporary and prior to both the writing of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

I can't quite tell what you mean by this.
My utopia has libraries, healthcare and high quality education is free. Oh and a lot more ants.
The way I see it, is that we can continue to play into the hands of the far-right regarding this issue, or for the sake of actual libraries and quality education made accessible for all American citizens we can work on counterarguments to the far-right. But touting utopia is just going to give the far-right the ammo that they want to shoot any actual reform down.
I prefer a Killmister's measurable autonomy with a forensic consistency to what is stabilizing to democracy, to ants. Ants use pheromones as a form of social control. Cognition and deliberation is more in keeping with the doctrine of natural rights which is better when trying to uphold Constitutional Rights.

In my utopia, there would be a big overstuffed chair with plenty of room for me and the cat and the book, and a small table right next to the chair to hold the mug of tea and the small, infinitely refilling plate of chocolate sugar cookies.
