rail, 5 months ago Discord "servers" have nothing to do with servers, and calling them that is silly. Ironically, Discord's own internal name for them ("Guilds") is actually pretty good, so sad they didn't use it in the UI.

kkarhan, 5 months ago @rail The correct name would be "Instances" since those ain't dedicaded servers but a mere instance used by a tennant and administrated only in very limited ways compared to a real server... BNot to mention #discord is just a bad #SaaS...
