@robb @kev the trending feed is generally aggregated by what your instance is seeing trending both locally and with federated instances. It’s not curated by the app developers.

@spiritedpause @kev Yeah I get that I wasn’t blaming Ivory per se. It’s just a result of how we define “trending” which is usually politics sadly.

@robb @spiritedpause I actually didn't know that. I just compared and the "tending" page on Mona is identical to the "Explore" page on Fosstodon. I (wrongly) assumed it was something the app developers created, but clearly not.
