As an 'IT Pro' I frequently get asked to 'have a quick look at my computer' etc but I dread being asked to setup a new printer because the experience is generally pretty poor.
I've previously reboxed a HP printer and took it back because the setup was dreadful and I couldn't get the unit working properly.
But I have to say, the #epson multi-function unit I've just installed was a breeze - job done in about 5 minutes.
@onthefencedev oh yes, I was once helping one person from my family to setup a printer. Remotely, through phone. This person is not technologically advanced. It was really, really horrible thing to do
