@NatureMC I completely agree with all of that. Although geographically the actual current conflicts are not on American soil they desperately need to get their house in order. Westminster is dragging us down into the pit also. We can only continue to resist and hope for better days. 🙏
@JackTheCat It astonishes me that media interviews with Trump supporters don't begin with the question 'why do you support a known criminal?' Much of the world looks on aghast and wonders how the US can let a man with so many charges over his head proceed.

The Mail, meanwhile - which I now see in my mother's room in hospital - is preoccupited with the Queen's supposed outrage ('sources said') at the naming of Harry and Meghan's baby daughter.
@davidpnice@toddedwardson@JackTheCat I think "the former guy" was used in the early days of the administration, to try to get the media's attention back on Biden's initiatives and programs. (Also, to make Trump seem irrelevant and yesterday's news, which probably got under his skin.)
Now that Trump is the likely nominee and we are heading into the campaign season, they are more likely to refer to him by name (and emphasize how dangerous he is).
