@oh_that_courtney I'm sure the protocol is 80% at fault here but I sort of wish the operating system vendors of the world didn't just actively try to make things worse.
@zalasur I don't know Bluetooth internals well enough to point fingers, but it is frustrating something so needed isn't better. I wish somebody would decide something like, "Hey, let's shitcan BT and invent wireless USB instead."
@oh_that_courtney I just thought of something, too. I've used this Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo for years. It does require a proprietary dongle but I never have connectivity issues with it. It just plugs into a USB port so I can switch between my work laptop and my home laptop just by plugging in the dongle where it's needed.
So it sort of feels like this is a solved problem. I guess there is just more money in not doing anything about the Bluetooth issue.
