Apologies if you've posted it here before, but would you be willing to share the recipe? Would you recommend it for a first-time bread baker?
I live in the stix, and variations on Wonder Bread are all I can get. Looking at your loaf, I'm drooling.
I had not been getting the crust I wanted on the previous loaves I had baked, despite baking them in a closed dutch oven, which is supposed to trap steam and set the crust.
This time I threw a splash of water in with the boule to make sure I got plenty of steam inside. It seems like it worked
