A toxic relationship doesn’t just affect the (usually) two people involved, it affects the entire social fabric. How does a hackerspace deal with this, how does a larger community, like the ?

Toxic relationships can also exist between colleagues, or in hackerspaces. There is no need for a “love couple”. I know of several cases of such toxic relationships in various hackerspaces. They almost destroyed the respective spaces.

@gamambel I'm reading this intently. In the mind of many long-timers, Chaos still has strong aspects of being a scene rather than an organization. Perspectives on how well we deal with social issues (umbrella term) vary widely. My own attitude towards this has been that the CCC organization should adjust to its size and become structured - which would increase social certainty, and allow us to garner more structured responses. But that's just one opinion, and debatable.
