The 30 Question Test given to black voters and poor whites in Louisiana who couldn't prove they had a 5th grade education, during the Jim Crow Era. Who had to take the test was completely up to the discretion of poll workers, so anyone could be singled out, but you can guess who was. White voters who couldn't prove their education were often asked a single easy question. I don't know very many people who could pass this period, let alone do it in 10 minutes.
@RickiTarr I've always been good at standardized testing, but they worded these questions so confusingly that you really have to reread several times to try to understand what they are asking for. Even then it's pretty vague.
Do you know if there's an official answer key or was it just up to the poll workers to grade it?
@RickiTarr I didn't read the Alt text and had a hard time working through the first page, thinking "well, 20 questions, I'd be stopped at #8 for running out of time and arrested for southern voter fraud."
Then I clicked the last square, "The fuck? There's a third page? I'd have to do three questions a minute?!!!"
And please don't take this test or argue about the questions to prove your intelligence somehow. It's gross and you'll look like a dick, so just don't.
