@beeoproblem to give an inappropriately literal answer, chronic cervicogenic headaches, fatigue, whatever the hell is going on in my back, and an inability to get more than 5 hours of sleep most nights. Thankfully though, all that is merely involved and not caused by dual contouring.
I haven't started on the implementation, I've just been reading to figure out what all I need to build. Gist is, you stuff everything into an octree, generate its dual, toss out some edges, and push verts around.
