This is really exciting!

Personally, I couldn't care less about services like "TackyTick" (my name for it) or InstaG0rm (yep, also my name for it), but this does remind me a little bit of Beme, which I dearly loved (probably because it was everything that IG isn't).

Any way you could add some kind of Beme-like mode to the roadmap where there's no preview and the video just posts without giving you the option to modify it? That would be crazy cool. Imagine taking the the #fediverse culture of honesty and authenticity and building a video sharing platform on THAT! :D

@luca @pixelfed @yuliyan @loops Loops is a whole separate front + backend.

It does share some backend code with Pixelfed, and you will be able to use your Pixelfed account to join, however your Loops account will be separate from your Pixelfed account.

(You will be able to share Loops to your Pixelfed followers with a single toggle, without having to boost it, or create a duplicate Pixelfed post)
