When I say I want an e-Cargo bike, I totally mean this one, and yes, I do realise it costs only slightly less than my current car cost used when I bought it 7 years ago:

The good thing about bikes: Upkeep is much less expensive than of cars.
You just need a save place to store it - at ground level or with good ramps, because that thing certainly is to heavy for carrying to the typical "bike basement room".
@bergamlaimerin This one is actually cool - you can store it vertically, so you can even get it on an elevator. But we have a ground-floor bike room anyway :)
@bergamlaimerin I never really wanted a car, just that living at the top of a cliff in Konz (small town outside of Trier, which is already pretty damned small) where there was almost no public transport with a small kid made it necessary.
I admit I also enjoyed the freedom, but a good bike can replace that.
@danielaKay I have a really "cheap" eBike I got during lockdown to avoid buses on the way to doctor's appointments etc, but it's really not fit for shopping and moving stuff around. That thing seems to be an excellent workhorse :)
