Just crazy that we're having a wide scale outbreak of measles right after an extended period of high Covid transmission. Just crazy. It is almost like Covid has population wide immune defense implications...

@NevadaWolf To say nothing that we've still got Monkeypox circulating, a disease which historically had very limited transmission. Very scary, because the more we allow it to spread the greater the chances of it mutating into something with greater host fitness.

I continue to be of the opinion that we should be entering a new era of more stringent public health practice, instead we've got the opposite and the coming century may be defined by a return to widespread epidemic diseases.
