Q: Is there a name for a situation when people opt to believe in something even if it contradicts scientific findings?

• No not looking for people that are sceptical/have objective criticism
• No not looking for cases of weak scientific evidence
• Looking for cases that claim believing (in whatever) is their right and will use that as sole proof of the claim
