Yesterday a road-raging toy pickup driver called me a dick for crossing the street. I told him to GET A JOB. Then, about a dozen chemistry grad students laughed at him from the sidewalk. I hope he's still mad.
@rbellinger Yesterday a turning driver beeped at me (and my bike) for being in the crosswalk with the walk signal. I pointed to the walk signal and yelled "I have the right of way". He yelled back, "not for bikes!", which was extra funny because I wasn't actually riding the bike. So I stopped (blocking his truck with the bike) and argued with him for a bit, which had the effect of delaying him an extra 20-30 seconds. I considered that a win.
@rbellinger Sure, bikes are fun, healthy, an extremely efficient/fast way to get around, cheap, and on and on.. but perhaps the best thing about them is the way that they short-circuit #CarBrain every time.
