Partner’s ex is morning the loss of a friend, who died unexpectedly after a respiratory illness. He’d had lung issues since getting Covid, making him more vulnerable.
It’s sad, but also scary. Vulnerable people have been bearing the brunt of “personal responsibility” on Covid avoidance, which doesn’t work very well. Anyone can become a “vulnerable” person, due to age, disability etc. Some previously fit & healthy people have become vulnerable after getting Covid.
