Ugh. Felt like an idiot earlier today when I stubbed my toe, hard, and now hours later feeling sorry for myself too as the pain is now worse and it's turning purple. Yay. Hope I can find an appointment to get it seen to sooner rather than later...
@sarajw when I was a kid this happened to me: I was watching the Kung-Fu series on TV, and wanted to see if I could kick down a door like David Carradine. Turns out you needed to spend some time in training in a Tibetan temple first.
@sarajw you're no idiot, I got a blue toe not that long ago while building some Ikea furniture.
I don't know how they can be so small and hurt so much at the same time 😭, but hopefully yours is just being dramatic and will get better soon by itself!
@sarajw definitely get it checked out, but agree that they might just advise keeping it elevated, iced, and stay off of it, which will probably annoy the heck out of you like the last time you had a foot/ankle injury (can't recall exactly what it was, but I remember you hated it!)
@anniegreens yeah my other foot still has plantar fasciitis to some degree, wearing barefoot style shoes has helped... And actually the nice wide barefoot shoes will probably be better for this, too, rather than normal shoes.
Yeah. I mean I can try to do my job laid down - can't use the big-ass monitor then though, boo
