Everyone on Mastodon is talking about the eclipse. People on Pleroma don't care. Is that who I'm going to have to deal with if I go outside tomorrow? Mastodon users?

@wjmaggos@alex I don't know if Pleroma users believe in Alex Jones as much as laugh at haha funny memenewsman. But they're all incredibly irony poisoned so it's hard to tell what they believe.
alt media personalities get graded on a ridiculous curve that their supporters won't even admit to. we should want them all out there (no censorship) but don't say that they are more often right than the mainstream they say is always wrong. this dumb division makes it impossible to make the whole ecosystem any better.
