This Dead and Bros. Band is, objectively, bad. Absolute crap. Corpses on stage and hired guns reading the lyrics. I’ve wasted a night out and a buzz. The buzz was one I’ve been anticipating so I’m going home to an empty (!) house to play records.
@Rosey Guessing you don’t get many acts through your hometown? Gotta take chances I guess. Pretty averse to anything resembling a dead cover band. Though sometimes unavoidable living in NorCal. They play craft fairs and farmers markets for heaven’s sake
@Stoneycase South Florida gets big nat’l/int’l acts but it isn’t the headiest of spots. Wife out of town on a girl’s trip, kids at grandma’s, had a little bit of fun stashed away… thought I’d take a shot. Missed. Still had fun playing loud records into the night in an empty house.
@Rosey@Stoneycase hell yeah. I had the house to myself last night and flipped from dabs to deems at about 11, which was also the number the music was turned up to. Could be a lot worse.
@mrcompletely@Rosey@Stoneycase exactly! On the rare occasion I find myself home alone without family, I relish the loud music and unconcealed supplements.
@BEK97@Rosey@Stoneycase I reached the Full Kaleidoscope Extended Bliss Zone a couple times last night. One was to that amazing Kikagaku/Ryley album, the other I'd have to look at the playlist
@Rosey@BEK97@Stoneycase yeah I have selected tracks from that in the modern psych rock playlist I was rolling. It's fucking baller. Stoney has watched the wrong video of them or something and thinks they blow, but that album has some deadass legit smoke on it. Clearly made for trippers
