@zeldman Obviously, that might seem cheap to the US. But the point is it shouldn’t exist at all. But this and private medicine is slowly being normalised in the UK. It’s a travesty.
@VeroniqueB99@zeldman Still free in the UK, in theory. But because the Tories have been slowly destroying our health service, capacity is now far lower than it needs to be. So we end up with those who can pay looking for ways to circumvent the public system. Which then further embeds privatised health care. Whether Labour will actually do anything about this is also an unknown.
