@debacle @blake yes #Libervia can! It's explained at https://libervia.org/__b/doc/backend/libervia-cli/ad-hoc.html . Basically you can run a command with li ad-hoc run --verbose to check the name of the fields, then use -S to submit them.

For instance to send an announcement for servers supporting XEP-0133:

li ad-hoc run "<http://jabber.org/protocol/admin#announce>" -f subject "Maintenance in 30 min" -f announcement "$(&lt;~/announces/maintenance_30.txt)" -S

@Goffi @debacle I think I'm looking for the opposite. I have a client that is supposed to be able to call ad-hoc commands. That's what I'm trying to test.

Maybe just setup #prosody with "mod_admin_adhoc", which enables a number of commands to play with:

Do you think we should expand the feature we support through Adhoc commands ? It would be nice to be able to do most things through the client. If client developpers are willing to push this, we are all for it !
