@notplants Not sure which version your instance has but newer versions (after 4.2) of masto (and forks?) have some kind of search switches to search in your own toots by adding "from:me" to your query. There are some more search filters documented here: https://fedi.tips/how-do-i-search-for-stuff-on-mastodon/

However, if you want something offline or using an archive, there's this: https://github.com/kensanata/mastodon-archive

And there are some links in the ReadMe to some similar alternatives.

thank you for this @praxeology , its appreciated! I think search options are not available on sunbeam.city but I haven't asked the others why yet and have been out of the loop

@notplants @squeakypancakes there's no reason other then that we haven't set it up. I would be very down if you wanted to figure out what was needed to get it going personally
