It sucks that Middle Earth: Shadow of War has in-app purchases. I never pay for them because they’re annoying. And also, I think they’re downright predatory when children play these games.
But I’m a huge sucker for Lord of the Rings, and if I see this on sale, my itchy trigger finger gets into action.
@atomicpoet I have the base games already, and they scratch the third-person brawler itch pretty well despite not being as fluid as the Arkham games. Also the Nemesis system was fairly amusing.

I suspect I am one of the few who was utterly unimpressed with the nemesis system. It largely boiled down to die to a random goon because of a silly mistake (and because I can't aim), have them come back later to hunt me and get slaughtered in seconds (the hand-to-hand combat is very forgiving once you get the basics).
@j_bertolotti@atomicpoet I liked the added perks or feats that they got, it added a little variety (not that the Nemesis system is unique in doing this). Although over the course of a full play through the taunts get really old (again, pretty typical).
