i want something like a livestream for coding but without having to like... be on a voice chat for an audience

i don't even mind it that much, it's just that writing applets is a comfort thing to me and i don't wanna make it harder

Do you also want not to get a stream of audience comments/responses/reactions? I'd guess so, and if so this is an additional important difference.

@whitequark I've been twitching about (video) containers for asciinema, so that I can sync screen capture, and maybe audio. Not sure if asciinema has the right features yet, but maybe it could? Keyboard sound generation might be an option - also, to prevent profiling (for those who are into those worries).

@whitequark I used to stream vectorization on Twitch (and need to set it up again). I'd put on some FM synth tunes as the audio source to OBS, have a Browser or IRC window* open for chat (read and write) on the second monitor, and have OBS capture Inkscape for the first monitor.

It worked well!

  • Idk if Twitch still supports IRC clients :(...
