@ernie on the Mac it’s impossible to copy a doc from Word to Outlook and retain formatting. Seems functional on Windows.

@GrantMeStrength That’s because Outlook was specifically redone for Windows in the mid-2000s specifically to use the Word rendering engine.

The side effect of this is that it made coding marketing emails a lot harder.

Outlook for Mac is effectively a wrapper for Safari, so it makes HTML emails look better but stinks for copy-pasting from Word.
