I was very low key about birthdays even before the pandemic hit, so today has been a very quiet one, but it's been a good day.
C and I both took a vacation day, and when we discovered that we were low on the blues' food, I changed my "do NOTHING" plan and went along for the unexpected errand run. It was downright warm and sunny out, and I hadn't gone anywhere in a while. (At this point, I go out so rarely that erranding is kind of an Event.)
We'd been planning to order Chinese barbecue for supper, but since we were borrowing a car for the cat food trip and were going to be in the vicinity, we were able to save the delivery etc. fees and just pick supper up.
And now we've had duck and crispy pork belly, and once again, I'm so glad to have access to lovely barbecue now. The grocery store that offers it seems to be thriving, which is wonderful. ^_^
