@DavidDarnes oh my gosh, i'm creating my first ever design system for my dayjob, and it's pretty intense because i've now gotta think like a developer, which is a lot harder than it sounds
@DavidDarnes aw thank :eyeless_pat: it does seem pretty interesting (although i'm still at the research/learning stage, but then again, i only really started working on it today), and i know that this experience of creating a design system for my employer will help me out with my own design work as well as with any other future projects and jobs that might come up, since i've been meaning to do it by myself for a long time, but never knew how to go about it.
i'm not sure if the design system will be public or if it's going to be used just within the company, but i'll share the link to it, once it's done, and if i'm allowed to share it.
on the plus side, i get to learn more about web development in a practical way (since poring over the docs and taking endless courses, yet still not knowing a thing doesn't cut it), and i can inch closer towards my plan of becoming a web designer-developer hybrid.
