I got a cheap pi, not the latest model and only 1GB of RAM.
Just installed AdGuard Home and it was easy af to set up.
Just hooked it into my ethernet, set a static IP address with DHCP, ran a few commands in the terminal to set it up and boom it just started working and I could login to the admin panel for further setup just like that.
I added a good amount of dns blacklists to my filters and then set up my Pi as the primary dns server for my wifi so now all devices that connect to my wifi just auto ad block
