Why is it that every time my anxiety worsens at work it is always the social part and not the job itself?

@Monsterlady At least in the IT world it's not the technical side that drives me insane, it's the people who shoot themselves in the foot with a bazooka and then scream no one told them that'd be bad.

This is usually after they've been multiple times told not to shoot themselves with a bazooka, because they'll blow up and no one is coming out looking pretty from that one.

@apzpins Don't you just love colleagues that get away with anything while you don't?

@Monsterlady Work can be predictable. People are almost never predictable.

@jacobyaudio True and I have a hard time containing my frustration sometimes even though I've had less episodes of that over the years. Try living with autism in the workplace and the social part becomes even harder.

@Monsterlady Yeah, I'm "on the spectrum" and feel all of that. Especially the frustration part.

WFH is nice with meetings where I can keep the camera off and stay on mute.

@jacobyaudio I use that term a lot too. I wish work had an off button for the social piece. All I need is to just do my job.
