@jawnsy Camera: Sony α6300, 50mm (75 in 35mm-equiv) portrait lens, f1.8, 1/80th, ISO 320. I then did some adjustments to exposure in Darktable

@ricci @jawnsy I've been doing portraits with a6600 35mm prime f/1.8 but it's not quite as good as yours I think. But I don't really do portraits.

@va2lam @ricci 35mm is great for portraits IMO, pretty versatile focal length since it's close to the nifty fifty (52mm equiv at 1.5x crop factor)

If I'm not planning anything specific then my Sigma 30mm is what I use as an all rounder lens

@jawnsy @ricci oh I actually do also have a TTArtisan 50mm f/1.2 manual focus lens as well. It is actually tricky to get the focus quite right at f/1.2.

I've used the 35mm for street photography evenings/nights because it's not, like, f/3.5-5.6 of the kit 16-50.

@ricci @va2lam @jawnsy I used my NEX-3N until it stopped working. Then used a6000 for a bit and have a nice 55mm 2.8 lens in addition to the kit. However, now I’m considering moving to fuji

@dev @va2lam @ricci @jawnsy depends on the camera. I started with a Yashica Mat 124G. You can get one for 200-500 (wouldn’t pay more than that)
