Putin’s narcissistic profile is clearly described here. Very destructive to all but himself. The profile also fits the former guy’s similar narcissistic behavior, even as tfg is submissive to Putin. Of the next steps to expect, also fit except that tfg isn’t intelligent enough to understand the impact that nuclear war would cause to his base. They need admirers. Putin understands but tfg can’t think deeply enough. TFG will always be subservient to Putin. Both know it.
