Liz and I looked into living in the USA for some time. After 3 years in a row visiting the USA a few times per year, visiting many states, we decided that if we would, it would be in Oregon.
But we decided no, hell no, absolutely not, not in the USA. Because healthcare. Police with too many powers (including taking all your belongings and not giving them back). Harsh criminal system, too many people in jail. Too many homeless. Too many guns. Too much transphobia.
