One thing I've never managed to use properly on the iPhone is Face ID. It's always been good at recognising my face and then unlocking the device. Although it's never been as fast as what I've seen others experience.
But I swear I'm always needing to enter my passcode. I get the “you need to use your passcode to unlock Face ID" message multiple times throughout most days. And I'm starting to think that I'm doing something wrong?
@chrishannah I won’t say you’re doing anything wrong, but I get that “do your passcode first” message like once a month or something. That sounds frustrating.
@matt I just think, am I doing something by accident like tapping the screen when it's not facing me, or accidentally holding down buttons that then somehow reset the state and requiring a passcode.
