I’ll bet the dialogue about complicated situations here would be a whole lot better if half this place quit responding to every Jewish person and posting about every current event with some wacky anti-Jew conspiracy theory or incredibly raging antisemitic junk that’s worse than the old original tropes themselves. Not that anyone enjoys hearing them over and over, either.
Oh, and that instances actually moderate about it. Especially if something like this is in their instance code of conduct.
@MaggyWells Honestly people in general here have started posting a lot of stuff with no verifiable source, quotes and graphics and they should stop including that. Misinformation on this platform is worse than during COVID right now.
@MaggyWells at this point I'm honestly concerned about virtually every infographic, meme, etc. related to any of this stuff. People are aggressively misinformed and misinforming and I don't want to hurt others.
This situation is trash and we are handling it badly.
@mentallyalex@MaggyWells For me, it needs to have a link or some other verification that’s not to Xitter or TikTok or YouTube because none of those are really a source unless it’s to an actual news outlet that’s not also spreading a one-sided narrative.
It’s the best I can do. There’s just a ton of misinformation. Videos with events that aren’t connected being passed off as current. Very limited viewpoints that show a small bit of a situation instead of as a whole. Just a shame.

@justafrog You used to just see this stuff on the literal nazi instances or the freezepeach ones. Now it’s all over and you get a lot of admins of large instances hemming and hawing about whether or not greedy Jew conspiracy stuff and reverse Holocaust posts are just expressing themselves. Come on.
