I need this funnel to look less new and shiny for the pitch drop experiment project, so I'm going to attempt to tarnish it with ammonia fumes.
The downside here is that this ammonia is what I have used to degrease animal bones that I have cleaned, so the smell of it boiling is probably horrendous
Buffing with steel wool takes the green off and leaves a nice brown bronze color. I'll leave this in the ammonia fuming chamber for longer until it gets an even coat of this
