Wondering if people might become accustomed to uncanny valley characters if exposed to enough shitty cgi animated films as kids?
Thought provoked by 6yo happily watching Alvin and the Chipmunks or whatever the hell it is called, where all humans look like undead Sims characters.
But maybe not, 10yo readily recognizes the creepiness of said show. Maybe the effect stems from something fundamental to developmental psychology.
