After we have metalhead.club shirts and stickers we are still missing... That's right, our own anthem.
The idea would be for members of our instance to write and record a metal song together. I'm confident that we have enough musicians here to get this off the ground.
I wrote to @thomas briefly and he thinks it's a good idea.
@MiseryPath@thomas I’m mediocre at guitar, clumsy at bass, and can maybe sing a wobbly line or two either in harsh or clean voice (the latter if the melody is in the right key, which I think somewhat around C/D/E would be OK). If needed, I also have some mixing skills.
All of that would have to fit with the time constraints of having a family, a band and some other minor hobbies, though. 😄
We can tease the public via Mastodon.club without having to subject them to every nitty gritty detail of planning and sharing the raw files. lol @MiseryPath@thomas
