@rem 1999. People on a music- PHPBB board had sparkly websites using cool Photoshop brushes for emo musings and low quality webcam pics. I wanted to be a cool kid too, so I went to Waterstones and bought this book.

(I'd done Logo with a turtle robot at school, but that wasn't my choice)

Dad bought a Commodore Vic 20.
Looking back at it now I think it was more for him than the family. However, my sister is a proper programmer - I'm just a marker upper.
