The espresso shot is poured into the glass of tonic causing the mixture to produce foam and flow out of the glass. It looks like a small coffee explosion.

melonamin, 20 days ago @simonbs here is how I do it Start with half a glass of tonic, I prefer with ice but that optional Pour espresso, half a glass should be enough to contain the eruption Stir Top-up with tonic This will give you even flavor and nice bubbly topping.

mths, 20 days ago @simonbs Hi Simon 👋 pour it straight on an ice cube instead. Will keep it calm. You can also pour it on to a tilted spoon :-)
