At the local super market:
I passed by here many times, then I started to wonder why this fridge with sweets is not located near to the other food area. These here need to look tasty to pet owners, and then be bought for their pets :)
Seeing these, @hananoaki commented along the lines of "well, overaging population, many people having pets instead of children..".

Good point.. I did not look that deep. They say 一緒にお祝いしませんか, so "don't you want to celebrate together?". Might mean all would eat this, or that pets eat their part and humans something else.
Even calories are written down for the single pieces.. but I guess there are also people who count the calories they feed their pets with.
@globalc@benoit@hananoaki wow. I remember my in-laws were getting おせち料理 for their dog 😅 and AFAIK it was seasoned for dogs, so basically no salt and such. I would assume such cakes are also not sweet then, but I surely don't know..
