@angiebaby@mloxton@StillIRise1963 I think Israel has been saying something like that for a while. They make non-precision bombs domestically, and if they had been using those instead of precision bombs provided by the U.S., the death toll in Gaza would be even higher. (It’s all pretty fucked up.)
@angiebaby@mloxton@StillIRise1963 A big problem is that Netanyahu is being told by the right-wing psychos in his cabinet, “if you accept a ceasefire agreement we’ll force a general election, you’ll lose your position, and then go to prison for all your crimes pre 10/7/23.” So I don’t know if there’s a way to incentivize him to stop. It would require something like crippling sanctions or military intervention.
Biden's not being weak. He believes Never Again only refers to one person. He interjected an Islamophobic trope in his Holocaust Remembrance speech. He included the student protests among those he's calling antisemitic. Politicians are already admitting the TikTok ban was to silence news and videos coming out of Gaza. He's so committed to Zionist ideology. He has bent over time and time again to Netanyahu, who wants Trump in power.

So he's lost the Arab American vote, he's lost most of the youth vote, he's lost most of the non-Zionist Jewish-American vote. And he's lost the vote of a lot of people who don't fit any category, but are horrified at a genocide that Joe Biden has been arming.
