Beating my head against Telstra’s process for moving my mobile number from a business account to a personal account. Somehow as the director of the Business. I am not the account owner.

Debating porting my number out to Optus and back again. I suspect it will be less painful.

@decryption sigh, easier but some how not. Optus accepted my port and claim they have an eSIM ready for me. But their app doesn’t think I have an active account.

@haakon oh you added eSIM to the mix! how dare you expect features offered by a telco to work properly

@decryption amusingly this morning the eSIM was available to install. Which it did, but now the phone thinks I have no reception and no mobile number. But I can make calls in and out with wifi turned off on my ported number.

Eeehhhh close enough.
