sls, 13 days ago Please keep the Northern Lights photos coming! They occur thanks to the Van Allen belts. James Van Allen still roamed his eponymous bldg during my physics undergrad. He was the only person allowed to smoke in the building. Not an official rule, just selective enforcement.
