Just remember, when you say you won't vote for Joe Biden, nothing bad happens to Joe Biden. He retires, goes home to his family, and lives his life in peace.

What happens to your Muslim/Hindu/Sikh/Jain/Buddhist/Wiccan/Pagan neighbours? They're fucked. What happens to your LGBTQ friends? They're fucked too. What happens to poor people? The disabled? The elderly? Babies? Kids? BIPOC folks? Women?

What do you care? If you cared, you would've voted for Joe!

Not to mention trump has promised to burn the planet for a few dollars in political contributions.

@thepoliticalcat

Totally sick of the "progressives" and/or Russian/GOP trolls who complain about President Biden, who has been more proactive about every possible aspect of the tenets that represent Democratic values that he possibly can and still turn against him on a dime. The Middle East conundrum is vastly complex, and Biden is walking a tightrope.

Also, don't forget that global democracy is also on the ballot because Trumpler will handcover Ukraine to Russia with a bow.

@thepoliticalcat Remember to riot in the streets for election reform after having voted.

The USA needs a lot more than two parties!

thepoliticalcat,
@thepoliticalcat@mastodon.social avatar

@UlrikNyman Unfortunately, the Constitution specifies two parties. Third parties serve only as a spoiler in our races. We don't need third parties, we need politicians who are in politics to serve The People, not themselves.

UlrikNyman,
@UlrikNyman@mastodon.social avatar

@thepoliticalcat I do believe there are no parties at all mentioned the the US constitution.

UlrikNyman,
@UlrikNyman@mastodon.social avatar

@thepoliticalcat Which is exactly why you need more than two parties!

With the current election system, you are correct that third party candidates are spoilers in the races.

But, this will not change with voter change directly. It will only change with election reform.
