@ai6yr I’m guessing not(?), since the effects of the CME are waning. Who knows. This is the first GOES outage I can remember, but at least it appears to be brief.

First thing that went through my mind... was this outage related to the solar storm? I don't feel qualified to even speculate. But the solar flux this evening isn't as high as the past two days.
