@Zamfr@kjhealy It isn't, though. The upper left is essentially atheism applied to consciousness ("X does not exist"). The summary I put forward is agnosticism in the same context ("we don't know enough about X to say, and it may not be provable either way with available means"). The situation is somewhat like those around theories of dark matter and energy. Their ontological status is simply unproven at this time. The upper left quadrant is just as belief-based as any. There's just no evidence.
