Proving TFG “directed” his "surrogates," MAGA pols, to make those attacks would be exceedingly difficult & putting him in jail at all, much less for something said by a 3rd party, would ignite a pol firestorm -it seems like a motion for contempt would serve as a pointless distraction with this trial racing toward the finish line.
