very recently i am realising that when i am looking at women in a certain way, i am not actually interested in being like that. i dont think i ever was. i just think theyre pretty. i mean have you SEEN women
@skye That seems like an example of what I (just curiously/uncritically) refer to as The Hetero* Mystery: how can you be attracted to something without also wanting to be it?
The fact that I find this a mystery probably says more about me than about the people I find mysterious.
also applies to bi people, but it's the "opposite-sex" part that I find mysterious
